A free, open-source, voice-activated AI assistant for Windows. Hold a hotkey, speak, release — text appears at your cursor. F8 dictates, F9 asks AI, F10 transforms selected text.
Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, a microphone, WebView2, and one provider API key (Groq, OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenRouter). No accounts, no Flunkey servers.
Into Windows Credential Manager under the Flunkey service — never into config files. The app fails closed if the vault is unavailable.
Releases aren't code-signed yet, so Windows flags the unknown publisher. Click More info → Run anyway. The warning goes away once releases are signed.
It's Windows-first, free, MIT open-source, and private by design: keys stay on your machine, history stays in local AppData until you wipe it.
