Hold F8 and speak; release to paste at your cursor. Choose Verbatim to keep the recognized words, Light for cleanup without custom prompts, or Enhanced to apply your global and active-app instructions. Speech recognition can run through a cloud provider or on-device Whisper.

Click any text field. The bottom pill lights up and a start sound confirms recording.

Choose your cleanup mode
Verbatim skips the second-pass cleanup and dictionary replacement. Light cleans grammar, punctuation, fillers, stutters, and self-corrections without your custom prompts. Enhanced combines your global instructions with instructions for the active app.

Text is pasted via the OS clipboard with context-aware handling for editors, browsers, chat, notes, mail, terminals, and other destinations.

Double-tap F8 for hands-free mode — confirm or cancel right in the pill.

Yes. Add preferred terms or explicit corrections for known systematic misrecognitions in the custom dictionary. Dictionary replacement runs in cleanup modes that enable it, not Verbatim.
Cloud recognition uses the configured provider. On-device Whisper uses temporary WAV and text files, deletes them after success or failure, and removes leftovers from a crash on a later launch. Transcripts are stored locally until you delete them or wipe app data.
Yes — all shortcuts are remappable in Settings if F8 clashes with another tool.
